Joe Panther
Executive Vice-President, Browsersoft Inc.

Mr. Panther owned and managed Panther Technologies Inc., a company that gained national recognition as a pioneer in the delivery of computer technology solutions for networking, CAD/CAM/CAE, computer animation and electronic publication. His company was one of the first authorized to represent leading edge software products from Autodesk Inc., Parametric Technologies Corp., Frame Technologies, Intergraph Corp and Banyan among others. As part of a 2 year pilot study, his company was selected as one of only 25 representatives throughout North America to participate as an authorized reseller of the advanced UNIX workstation systems developed by Sun Microsystems Inc. Within 3 years, his company was recognized as the seventh largest customer within Sun's 18 State central region, and along with Andersen Consulting, was one of the first organizations granted "Integrator" status by Sun Microsystems. In 1991, his company was honored as a top 50 producer among 2000+ worldwide Autodesk software resellers and was later bestowed Master Reseller status by Calcomp, Inc., as a top 25 worldwide sales producer of Calcomp's commercial output devices. Clientele included leading national and regional businesses such as Sprint, Southwestern Bell, AT&T, Mc Donnell Douglas and Allied Signal among others.

As a result of successful sales and customer service efforts, he was selected to participate on the reseller advisory boards of Autodesk Inc., Calcomp Inc., and Sun Microsystems Inc. As an independent advisor, Mr. Panther also assisted Sun Microsystems in the development and approval of the channel distribution policies that were adopted by Access Graphics of Boulder Colorado, Sun's first distribution partner.

As manager of channels development, Mr. Panther designed a progressive reseller program and developed a worldwide reseller network for a manufacturer that invented the first commercially available RISC CPU workstations supporting the Windows NT Operating System. Clientele included resellers from every major continent. During his tenure, Mr. Panther worked with Mr. Sparky Sparks, one of the three original concept team members that defined the IBM PC, and the original VP of Marketing and Sales for Compaq Computer Corporation. Markets targeted included computer animation, video editing, multi-media, CAD, pre-press, internet/ intranet and network server solutions.

As Vice President of Business Development for Browsersoft, his responsibilities include the development and marketing of services, and the delivery of superior customer satisfaction.
