Don Grodecki
President, Browsersoft Inc.

Education:
BS in Physics, University of California, Riverside, 1971
MA in Applied Mathematics, University of California, Los Angeles, 1975
Ph.D. course work and written qualifying exams completed in Applied Mathematics, specializing in Operations Research, at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Experience:
From 1971 through 1979, Mr. Grodecki worked as a Senior Mathematician at Hughes Aircraft Company, Culver City, CA. At Hughes he was instrumental in developing mathematical methods and software for optical design and analysis. He co-wrote HEXAGON, a macro-driven program for optical design and analysis, FOE, a user-programmable evaluator for Fourier Optics and SOS, a laser beam propagation and analysis system for the Navy.

After independently designing the world's first single board computer system supporting the CPM and MPM operating systems, Mr. Grodecki left Hughes in 1979 to found EXO SYSTEMS CORPORATION, Stateline, Nevada. This company was engaged in the design, development, manufacture, and sale of a small business computer product-line and associated application software packages. The product consisted of Z80-based distributed multiprocessor systems using a RS422 local area network. His responsibilities included the planning and implementation of a number of engineering programs, including operating system software and drivers.

In 1983, Don joined AMD, a major semiconductor manufacturer. As Acting Manager of CAD Networks at AMD, he had responsibility for a worldwide data communications network. Development projects included an Ethernet interface into IBM 3081 VM/UNIX and a distributed data-PBX asynchronous terminal network, including associated software.

At the Cyclotomics division of Kodak from 1985 to 1987, Mr. Grodecki functioned as Manager of Product Development and had responsibility for the hardware/software design of certain subsystems. Upon being transferred to the Datatape division of Kodak in 1987, Mr. Grodecki was assigned to manage the production and delivery of MARS 2000 recorders for the NASA Space Shuttle SRB. Mr. Grodecki was appointed Deputy Program Manager for 19mm Systems, and managed Datatape's HIPERLON program.

As an R&D Director at Informix Software Company from 1990 to 1996, Mr. Grodecki managed the release of graphical software products for client/server systems including SmartWare II, Wingz, HyperScript Tools, and ViewPoint Pro. In an architectural role, he was instrumental for planning new versions of Informix NewEra, ViewPoint Pro and a new graphical database-administration tool called the Relational Object Manager (ROM). Mr. Grodecki introduced the Tools and Environments division of Informix to Object-Oriented Design, Web-based software development, and as a representative to industry committees, led an extensive study to determine the feasibility of delivering commercial grade applications via the WWW.

Mr. Grodecki founded Browsersoft, Inc. and published "Browser/Server", a prophetic white paper foretelling today's e-business paradigm. As President and CTO, Mr. Grodecki is the chief architect for eQ!TM Business Class Enabler, eQ!TM Business Class Builder and associated applications offered by Browsersoft to deliver the full potential of Browser/Server. Mr. Grodecki manages the Browsersoft development staff and supervises the planning, development and quality control of each project engaged by Browsersoft.

Joe Panther, Executive Vice-President
